1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Lore Log ("the Service"), operated by Recursive Visions LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Lore Log is a voice-first gaming journal application that allows users to record gaming session recaps by voice. The app uses AI to transcribe, summarize, and organize your gaming memories. The Service is available on iOS and Android with a companion website at lorelog.gg.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create through the Service, including voice recordings, transcriptions, and journal entries ("User Content").

By using the Service, you grant Lore Log a limited license to process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service (e.g., transcription, summarization, search indexing).

5. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Free tier: Available at no cost with usage limitations as described on our pricing page.
  • Legacy (Pro): Monthly or annual subscription with additional features. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled.
  • Lorekeeper (Lifetime): One-time payment for perpetual access to Pro features.
  • All payments are processed through Stripe. Our 30-day money-back guarantee applies to first-time purchases only and is limited to one refund per customer.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
  • Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though we will provide a reasonable period to export your data.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI-generated transcriptions or summaries will be perfectly accurate. We are not liable for any loss of data, though we take reasonable precautions to prevent data loss.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lore Log shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
